Description:
A Sewing Machine Operator is an important job-role associated with Apparel sector. The primary responsibility of a machinist is to stitch/ sew fabric, fur, or synthetic materials to produce apparels.
The role also involves operating and maintaining sewing machines, following garment patterns and specifications, and ensuring proper stitching and finishing. Operators are responsible for checking fabric quality, maintaining accuracy, and meeting production requirements. They follow workplace safety practices and contribute to maintaining consistent quality in garment production. They ensure accurate stitching, proper finishing, and consistent garment quality and also follow safety practices and production standards to meet industry requirements.
